Many churches today are setting-up live streaming. While live streaming is not a replacement for in-person services it CAN be an outreach to your community and a benefit to your members. But the question is should YOUR church set up a live stream?
Do you have members that are often unable to come to service due to health or travel (work or family)?
Do you have an active Social Media program that you want to add to?
Do you have lost or backsliders following your social media?
Do you want to have a fallback in place in case of future public health emergencies?
Do you want to let people in your community get a chance to see what your services are like?
If you answered yes to any of these questions then you should at least consider live streaming.
Live streaming is not as complicated or expensive as it used to be. With modern technology it has become so simple a teenager can set up a decent live streaming program in their bedroom to stream themselves playing video games. In fact you can probably get help and/or equipment donations from a teenager in your church!
